I was able to finesse the lower left border--and, looking at the photograph of the original sampler, little Ann had to do the same. I wish there had been another way to stick a strawberry in that spot, but, like Ann, I didn't have room.
Now it's on to the last motifs. There are fourteen of them. I think. I should probably not count. I should probably just sit down and stitch.
Glad you're back to stitching--leave the office organizing to higher management (doesn't that sound like a slick pr way to get out of a chore?).
ReplyDeleteWoohoo - finished border! Guess that abdicating from adulting worked pretty well. :)
ReplyDeleteI've had to finesse plenty of borders but I think it helps make them your own, even if it is but a tiny difference from the original stitcher's own finessing! You'll have the rest done in no time and it's going to be gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWell done on getting the border done, it looks lovely.
