[the acronym stands for Pack Rats and Spouses of Pack Rats] I am so glad I am not alone: the boys old bedroom has become a dumping ground for the detritus of 40 years of married life. But I have vowed to work on it this Fall since there is a chance that my youngest son may need the space when his lease expires in February. Rentals are terribly expensive hereabouts and he may have to transition back home while he searches for something suitable.rionahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07141923797221351378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7549190721902314331.post-64082287364630142212012-10-02T05:29:39.573-07:002012-10-02T05:29:39.573-07:00Ann ... The sad thing is, we have moved around a lot & each time we get rid of a bunch of things but then somehow end up with even more at the new residence! We have lived here a little over 3 years now & my sewing room looks like a big catch-all as well! We keep talking about downsizing ... & it IS going to happen. It's just a question of when.Shirleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04117632465099828622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7549190721902314331.post-3111707146107856302012-10-01T19:44:43.015-07:002012-10-01T19:44:43.015-07:00I just found your blog and love it!! LOL! Our home sold after 3 years on the market and we had 30 days to get out. And 30 days it took us... it wasn't pretty. One huge dumpster, 221 bags/boxes donated to Goodwill and two truckloads of furniture given to friends. I vowed at that time that I will never never never hold onto anything again that we did not need! (Of course now I am sorry I tossed some things... ha!)Carolyn @ The Baseball Stitcherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07292883796575703674noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7549190721902314331.post-20876746597059708682012-10-01T18:45:51.381-07:002012-10-01T18:45:51.381-07:00As a collector married to a minimalist, I feel you...As a collector married to a minimalist, I feel your pain. I commented last month that I needed to work on my closet. One of my employees remarked that I had done that last year. Well, yes, but your point is...?
